After a glorious December vacation, I am back and ready to take on the new year! I am very excited with the possibilities of this year, as I plan on making a lot of things happen for myself.....
But on to business, this post is dedicated to uber fashionable Japanese women. I spent the first half of December touring and exploring Tokyo (with a few sidetrips to Kamakura, Kyoto and Mount Fuji) and I must say that these girls have incomparable style and flare. From their perfectly coiffed curls down to their fabulously cute shoes.
Some trends I noticed were: fur (lots of it!), cute short skirts, hats and incredible designer purses. Fur was on coat collars, around ankles via cute little boots and even scarves. I happen to have picked up a pair of those boots because I loved the look so much and its very cute. Almost like a practical version of all the fur seen on Chanel's F/W 2011 runway. The skirts were worn in a very sophisticated way with cute tights and sweaters. Hats were varied with fur, bows, stripes and more but always looked so chic topping off the look.
One of my fave looks of the trip? The pic above of incredible wedding kimono and headwear that we witnessed in Yoyogi Park.
