Essentials for Spring

All this warm, sunny weather has me thinking of Spring and Summer and all the fabulous fashion that it brings. So I feel it is necessary to go back to the Spring and Summer ready-to-wear collections to highlight some spring essentials.

First, prints and colour - always a spring essential! My particular favourites are Pucci, Alexander McQueen and Versace. Prints are a must-do all year round but especially when you can wear them as hot bikinis and short dresses.




The second essential is a great skirt suit. Our toes get to be free with the re-inroduction of sandals, so why not our legs too? Obviously use your discretion for what an acceptable length is

in your personal situation. My personal faves this season were Moschino and (of course) Chanel.

Third essential for any Spring is white! White is especially great against that beautiful sun-kissed glow that we all sport in the summer months. Try it in an amazingly flowy party dress or in an office appropriate suit jacket to brighten up your life after the long winter. Standouts in the Spring r2w collections were Pucci's flowing dress of love and Gucci's futuristic constructions.
