I am tres excited! For those of us that can't actually afford one of Alber Elbaz's incredible Lanvin creations but obviously have always wanted one, this is the most exciting to ever happen to us! Okay, there might be more exciting things but this is pretty close to the top. These dresses look so classic Lanvin - drapery, classic lines, flattering cuts, girly embellishments, much fabulousness.
So far, I am targeting the YSL throwback 'le smoking' type jacket and of course the classic draped one shoulder dress. I am also loving the chicness of this ad and the elderly fashionista in the back. Some might say she has a better pose than the younger ones with her. And it does nod a bit to Alber's belief in diversity.
Countdown is on: the complete collection debuts on November 2nd on http://www.hm.com/ and the collection is in stores in North America November 20th.
